Compensation/Salary: Dependent on Experience (DOE)



Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in produce and 5 years’ warehouse experience.
  • Strong knowledge of USDA grades and standards.
  • Proficient in operating warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, electric forklifts) and holding current certifications.
  • Ability to provide Train-The-Trainer certification for equipment.
  • Familiar with GMP, HACCP, and food safety procedures.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to follow all safety guidelines and instruct others on safe operating procedures.
  • Flexible working hours and days.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Manage receiving operations effectively, ensuring smooth and timely unloading of shipments.
  • Provide inter-department communication regarding receiving-related issues.
  • Report questionable product quality to superiors.
  • Oversee unloading of trucks, ensuring safety and efficiency, or direct team members accordingly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse, strictly adhering to GMP, HACCP, and food safety policies.
  • Answer phones and radios to assist inbound freight drivers, provide directions, and manage appointments.
  • Prepare and manage incoming and receiving paperwork, including pallet labels.
  • Greet and process inbound truck drivers, ensuring smooth entry and accurate documentation.
  • Process receiving documents in computer systems and efficiently slot products into the warehouse.
  • Record and collect temperature readings and other relevant data for HACCP and GAPs compliance.
