Job Description

Under the direction of the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager, the Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring company's products meet food safety, regulatory, and quality standards.

Conducts and documents quality control inspections/controls.
Conducts and documents inspections for personal hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Collect samples from the environment or food product for sensory, microbiological or chemical testing.
Perform equipment calibration as established by quality assurance procedures.
Responsible for identifying and investigating non-conformities.

Job Requirements

Minimum of 2-5 years' experience working in a restaurant, food industry or sanitation company.
Exposure to food industry audits, good manufacturing practices, and other food safety standards a plus.
Ability to demonstrate values of honesty and integrity, respect for others, teamwork, and collaboration, accountability, and performance.
Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
