Job Description
Location: Seguin, TX 78155
Pay-rate: $20-$24 DOE
Production Controller Job duties:
Production controllers typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
Ensuring that all materials needed for the production process are available and at the machine they are to be run on.
Tracking production schedules and making sure that they are met by communicating changes to the production team.
Communicating with other departments and quality control in preparation of upcoming jobs being move into their areas.
Coordinating work hours with management to ensure that production needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Preparing reports on the status of production, including any delays or problems that may occur.
Maintaining inventory of raw materials and finished products using computer programs such as EXCEL spreadsheets.
Reviewing production reports to identify any potential problems with the product.
Job Requirements
2+ years experience in Production Supervision
The ability to understand Production Scheduling
Proficient in Microsoft Programs, especially excel
Strong Interpersonal skills to work with employees, customers, and suppliers
Work with employees daily
The ability to multitask
Self-Starter, driven & motivated, strong leader
Positive attitude at work and encourage employees
Strong knowledge of supervisory and management practices and skills
Committed to production requirements, quality, safety, and continuous improvement
