Located in DeSoto, TX, we build cabinets for multi-family housing and large development contracts. We use state-of-the-art machinery to produce high-quality cabinetry. The Industrial Maintenance Technician position requires someone with strong interpersonal skills. The Technician is responsible for ensuring the highest operational functionality of the equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities:
Mechanical
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical failures and make necessary repairs.
Preventative and predictive maintenance implementation and execution.

Electrical
Familiar with the use of Voltage Meters (Voltage, Ohms, Amps, Continuity, etc.)
Knowledge of AC/DC Circuits
Ability to install and/or diagnose problems with single phase 110-220V circuits, as well as 3 Phase, high voltage circuits, and perform necessary repairs.
Operational concept of contactor, power supplies, relays, inverters, drives, etc.
Experience with servos, motor controls, and PLC s, including reading and interpretation of ladder logic.

Pneumatic & Hydraulic
Understanding of air and fluid concepts

Job Requirements

Employees must have a working knowledge of all equipment and processes for repair and maintenance of that equipment.

Experience: At least 7 years of relevant work experience is required

Skills: Ability to evaluate design flaws and implement corrective actions to eliminate chronic problems or excessive downtime in areas of assignment.
Knowledge in robotic/CNC systems with ability to support the electronic interface, mechanical installation, design/fabrication, repair, and maintenance of various brands of secondary automation devices for automated production equipment.
Ability to develop operating and maintenance manuals for a variety of equipment.
Ability to read and understand components, machine design electric, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics, and blueprints.
Basic math and engineering skills to support the design or modification of equipment or fixtures as required.
Must have excellent communication skills (verbally and written)

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:

Essential Physical Tasks:
(List all physical tasks encountered in performing essential functions.) Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling weights up to 50 lbs. 100 lbs. Occasionally. The average weight is 1 lb. 49 lbs. Frequently.
The Maintenance Technician functions at a work pace of occasional to frequent. Critical physical demands are lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing, crawling, trunk turning and twisting.
